ESWA Community Pre-School
With support from the French Embassy Nigeria , ESWA in 2005 built the first community day care / pre-school facility for the children of market women in Nigeria .
ESWA’s limited provision of affordable pre-school places has removed the burden of child day-care from a number of fortunate market women, enabling them to concentrate in their businesses. Moreover, it has enabled older female siblings to go to school.
The First set of children graduated to primary education in August 2007. The state governor’s wife at the time Mrs Ussieh Osunbor presented the children with their certificate. 40 new children ages 6months to 2years old were offer a place to start immediately.
Please DONATE NOW to help us ensure the nursery celebrates future graduations.
