Youth Programme

NEET programme (Young people Not in Employment, Education nor Training).

Following our youth workshop and need analysis in 2007, it was clearly stated that young people living in Benin City are lacking hope and sense of directions in facing the future. 90% of young offender who took part in our survey said that crime was not out of choice. 95% said they would like a chance to work for a living. In these contexts we have worked with young people in planning and developing a training programme, which lead to employment. They hope the programme will positively engage them and provide the necessary skills and direction for a better future.
